Mozleron said: Well, let this be a lesson in trust. Trust no one on the internet. When someone says "oh, sure, i won't play best players when there's money i don't really need on the line." Know that they are honor-less liars. Let the numbers tell the story, and always assume the worst. For the record, I NEVER stated that to anyone. Perhaps some other team said that, but it was not me. |

Why is everyone so upset? If people wanted to monitor (keep out) teams from joining a private league, then it should have been invitation only. Last I checked, it was a free league to join. I've done nothing wrong gentleman. I am certainly not trying to boast, but I think the consensus is that I have the team to beat. Not only that, but my team will continue to get better this season, as my stadium brings me far more revenue than any of yours. |

Yeah, thanks!..but no thanks! At least if you were a gentleman, you would feel bad by not unsubscribing when requested! You would feel it would be unfair to play on a league that you would win with the least of the efforts!...easy money yeah?...thats all you see, not the real game! And Vinny D, that mafia wanabe user shows exactly your own caracter!...stay alert mate! |

Vinny D said: Why is everyone so upset? Let me list a few quotes from previously in this thread: I killed everyone. I am going to dominate this private league all year. I romped to a 7-0 win today. I'm loving it. Domination. You all stand no chance against me... did you just see my recent win? 11-0? That is too dominant for this league. Looks like I'm going to take all the prize money. I dominated your team yesterday 7-0.... and now look at my 11-0 scoreline today. Nobody can stop me in this league. You are right... my team is just too strong. I don't think that anyone will beat me in this league. I think the closest you all will come is someone drawing me, but not winning the match. I will easily be in the Top 3... and make some money in this league via the payout at the end. Why would such inflammatory statements cause anyone to get upset? Because it's very poor sportsmanship. There is a not so fine line between being a good winner and being a taunting, insulting jerk. Judging by the reception you've received here, it's pretty clear which side of that line you have chosen to stand. If people wanted to monitor (keep out) teams from joining a private league, then it should have been invitation only. Last I checked, it was a free league to join. On this point, you are absolutely correct. I've done nothing wrong gentleman. On this point, you are technically correct, you have not broken any written rules. Being a jerk is not against the written rules, though it does step hazardously close to rule #5. I am certainly not trying to boast, but I think the consensus is that I have the team to beat. Sounds an awful lot like boasting to me. Not only that, but my team will continue to get better this season, You make it sound like the rest of us are not going to improve at all, just due to your mere presence. as my stadium brings me far more revenue than any of yours. I guess $400k/game could be considered "far more"... In summary, yes you have a good team. However, there is no reason for taunting or being a jerk about it. Previous respondents are correct in pointing out that this sort of behavior causes alienation to yourself. If you feel that your self image is so low that you require this sort of behavior to prop up your ego, then good luck to you in the rest of your life, as you are really going to need it. However, being a good sport, in both winning and losing, will serve you well no matter where you go or what you do. |

It is all in good nature and nothing more than mere competitive banter. Unfortunately, today's private league results illustrate the type of pattern that will permeate through the rest of the season... another lopsided defeat at the hands of my team. Best of luck to my next challenger in tomorrow's private league match... you certainly know you are going to need it. |

And from here on out, anyone who is unable to behave like a decent human being is now Persona Non Grata. Since it has proven impossible to hold a useful or intelligent conversation with someone who feels the need to taunt and act like an idiot, there is no use in trying. |
