Like many others in Striker Manager, I have been following the recent controversy regarding admins. Forum is having more blocked threads in the first page than the normal threads.. At the risk of getting banned, i would like to raise a few questions. 1. What is the purpose of 'admin rights' when they close or delete threads? Is it for controlling spam on topics totally unrelated, or is it for making the game and admin look good? The controversy is something everyone is talking about, and I for one, would like to discuss it openly without getting banned. And if there is a popular thought or doubt, arent the admins supposed to clear it out? 2. Normally, I have seen that if any manager performs an act which is against rule, he is banned first (team retained in many cases) and then allowed to explain. Why is the same rule not applicable to admins. They might have some explanation, or they might not have. But they are suspects, and i think all suspects deserve similar treatment. 3. Why aint there an open discussion regarding the problem? Just open a General topic, or even a chat-like thread, where all the issues can be discussed in absence of any policing. 4. Maybe what admins did is allowed at certain level and is not called cheating. But if they are so convinced of it, why not give an explanation in open forum, and let the users form their own opinion.. All this closing and deletion of thread is leaving a very bitter taste and spoiling our SM experience. 5. Where are the senior admins? |

- Under no circumstances issues about moderation and management will be discussed in the forum or in chat rooms. A rule about Admins and Moderators, this is why any idea of an open channel is shut down However, the Admins and Moderators CANNOT expect us to know the rules when the next two are this: No está permitido el uso exclusivo de mayúsculas, ya que podría equivaler a estar gritando y es una norma básica de convivencia en cualquier foro/chat. - Recordad que en este juego participan menores de edad, por lo tanto todo contenido sexual o violento podrá ser cerrado sin mediar discusión alguna. Admins come on, you have to translate this stuff! |

I completely agree with the questions raised by sanyam. IMO closing/deleting threads, banning ppl, is not the way. If admins think those admins did not cheat, then they should put of a brave front and discuss it openly. As users of this game, whether paid or unpaid, we have every right to ask questions. |

I'll be getting banned too i suppose but better than playing a game where a basic concept like equal treatment is not followed. P.S. Friends keep the required data as this might get deleted too. |

If ever they become hindrance in proper functioning of a system, or are misused, it is time for a change.. Rules should be dictated by those who follow it, and not the other way round.. |

I would have no qualms if I am banned. It would just re-stress the point any game or company is successful by those who run it, and not by the patents or other ideas the owners have generated.. Striker Manager is a very unique game. I really love the way intricacies of football are captured here. I have really enjoyed my gaming career of 6 months or so here. But if certain problems are not handled efficiently, I will be left with nothing but bitter thoughts.. I believe many users here are also present on many other online games. A good example set by administrators here will be quoted elsewhere for sure.. |

100% agreed. I hope that when senior admins arrive, they waste no time in putting these issues to rest in a proper fashion. |
