Injuries are unrealistic compared to games played. If a player gets inured for, lets say 4 weeks, thats a minimum of 12 games in just a normal league. Thats nearly half a season. Injuries seem to be in real time but the game is played faster on 3 games a week meaning that the injuries are actually more severe than they should be.

For instance in real time, a 5 week injury would mean a minimum of 5 games. In this game that means a minumum of 15 games (3 a week).

Injuries should be counted in games, not weeks and be more realistic to the amount of games played.

But by using the Doctor you can reduce the injury time by x weeks every 3 days. My Doctor for example reduces injuries by 3 weeks. So a player injured for 4 weeks originally would only miss 3 league games maximum. 02/09/2011 20:57

Dude just use your doctor, makes a 13 week injury last a week and a half. Besides many of these are realistic enough, I doubt a torn ACL would mean you'd be out for 13 games. 02/09/2011 20:58

Yeah use your Doctor, not only do you pay a weekly salary for the doctor but you also incur extra charges for the Doctor working? The Doctors help could be re-adjusted to the time taken. 02/09/2011 21:05

Yeah you pay the Doctor a salary, then you pay extra for any treatment that's needed. What's wrong with that? 02/09/2011 21:09

I dont disagree, im constantly using my doctor for the last 4 weeks, i just think the usage of doctors is kind of unkind to newer players, lots of money has to go to stadia, players and stuff. I think that the injuries are too severe, to constantly use your doctor for a lower player is a lot of money and depending on the rating of the doctor how many times you have to use them.

I do think there must be a fairer system that could be adopted, not sure how many lower leagues teams could afford a £100,000 doctor salary plus med expenses.

For example...

The injury 5 weeks..
Doctor £50k a week..

reduce the wages say to £40k but every week that you have to use the doctor you incur a £5k charge. Im sure this game will want players to be injured as to entice the use of buying golden balls (which they have every right to do)

That's right, they prioritise their spending on the stadium, better players, coach and youth coach before anything else. Also a rubbish doctor doesn't cost much in terms of salary or treatments and still gets the player recovered quicker than if just left. A new team can't expect to start and straight away be given the ability/income to buy the best players and afford the best staff. That wouldn't be fair to the teams that have earnt it. 02/09/2011 23:13
