No, stick to the middle (other than RM and LM)

 Looking at @shengli's team (the best team in the game), he has no backs (RB, LB), wings (LW, RW), OM, LF or RF.

Are those relatively useless positions in this game?

My RF and LW score most of my goals, but that's because my CF sux.

Hopefully the next version will be a bit more err... balanced?

 I think you need to define "good". Good is a fluid term in this game, depending on the team & division - a 40/18 whatever position is probably pretty good for Div 7, but not so much for Div 4.

If I had a 67/whatever RF, I'm pretty sure that qualifies as "good", and would play him most games. It doesn't matter if I do not train him, a 67 is still a 67. Same with most other positions. As I understand it, the game as of now is based on a good CF, GK, and a high average. I'm pretty sure I'd find a way to incorporate a high rated player, regardless of position, as it increases the overall team average.

My jr team has lots of RB, LB, RM, LM, and two wings. Running is great. As is Ball Control.

While it does behoove one to examine and emulate the successful SM managers, your question's premise and definition is lacking. 		01/09/2011 05:34
