... in fact to-day, at around 12:21 CET, a fine young player was wondering the grounds of his team mansion. But something was different. The front gates, so carefully locked tight since he'd arrived just 9 days 23 hours and 59 minutes ago, were actually open! Joy of joys! The sky was blue, the green was green and the sun was shining on the other side of the walls. Surely a quick peek before training at 2pm would be fine. As he wandered towards those pearly gates, he wasn't to know that on one side of the road was hiding Slipi with a band of lightning fast gecko-snatchers, with GunnerNic on the other side with his band of junior arsenal players on speed training (From Stage Right, Commentator: in fact, despite being both being lit up as green & online neither of them knew the other was there!). 'Cent*r Fo**war*' But then, POW!, BAM! Slipi makes the first move slinging two lizards straight at him right as the nearby church clock chimes the 22nd minute. ZZZZAAAP! The mansion's lasers take out both lizards as they cross the plane of the gateway, just before they reach the victim. But, one more step and BOOM! Nic fires the launching cannons, propelling his juniors into the midriff of the unlucky soul and into the clutches of one happy pirate. The day's result GunnerNic 1-0 Slipi... Slipi has to walk the plank after being Jolly Rogered by Nic. Will it be the same in their league match later this season? |
