as reb said, donations only if they leave you with more than 200GB also, if its considered a donation to someone who really likes the game, then maybe allow GB exchange only for teams that have spent 30 days on SM (striker manager, not shadow masters  ). Or I think a similar approach would be to allow people to buy GB from SM (again as above) for maybe 100GB=10M. I'm sure they would never do that though because looks like inflation is already happening so the price would be like change for rich managers.I hope that I'm one of the reasons that inspired you to make this thread Nic  |

Haha nice one Soli... just 5 mins ago negotiated a deal CF - IM swap deal ( I got the IM) but I could not see the forecast of the IM because the seller did not have GB's. So imagine now....there we go mate, here's 10GB's - pop on the forecast. Done deal. (I could work out his progression (80+) from his training and had to risk a decent forecast) They have a system called credits in managerleague (like our GB's) and you can donate credits to anyone - it works brilliantly. How about, having a restricted amount on how many GB one can receive in a season, because if its unrestricted, he could just sign up mulitple accounts and forward himself some GB to extend his credit line and therefore make him capable of purchasing better players. So my suggestion is, limit the amount of GB one, can receive. Also only allow managers who have been on sm for atleast 30 days to send and receive donations. Once again - you would not be able to set up multiple accounts and transact any GB because of the shared IP address restriction already in place. |

After going through this discussion, i think i agree on the following points. 1) Somebody can donate GBs only if, they have purchased GBs. Not from the ones you get, when you register. 2) Perhaps a limit on how much GBs a manager can receive as a donation. Maybe also a limit on how much GBs a manager can receive from a particular Manager(Donator). That should do the trick. |

I think the only restrictions one would need is that golden balls that are purchased with money are the only ones that can be donated, simply so that it doesn't encourage opening multiple accounts. I don't think any other restrictions make sense except a per-season limit on donations to a single player. Remember, we're mainly trying to help out players in areas like Africa where it's literally impossible to buy golden balls atm. |

Also there can be a tax on the purchase of golden balls like the 5% on purchase of players... Will further helps to reduce inflation... |
