tboyfc said: What you guys are telling us is that we should not be thinking to go for it right. not for a while. a school is the absolute LAST thing you need. from my own experience, here's what you should focus on: getting general seats > getting pro seats > buying 50+ rated players so you can win and FILL those seats > buy good coaches to train your players > buy some useful juniors (a whole different monster) > sit around and enjoy collecting money > only then can you decide whether to build a VIP section or build a school that's worth building. you should only worry about a school when it becomes that you actually have the money to stress between it and VIP seats. and as nasregas says, sometimes it might just be better to buy a good scout and keep buying juniors. thing with that though is that a worthy scout will cost about as much per week as a decent school (not a great school, just a decent 4 star regular/normal). and you'd have to actually BUY the players he shows you, whereas with a school they're already yours. the amount it costs to build a school can be paid off by selling your juniors it produces, whereas if you had to actually pay a nice price to buy a junior from your scout, you'll be more inclined to keep him. personally, i use the scout to find me players of the future, and the schools as an extra source of income. Bottom line is you may build a school only if you are sure it wont get you fired. Meanwhile if getting one means buying your way out your club, stick to scouts. My question is,i dont have a school and i dont have any memory of reading anything concerning this. Do schools come with a shut-down option? If so then i'd gladly take the risk. |

You can close a school but you lose the investment you put into it. | 04/08/2011 19:55 |

It really only costs a lot when you start building Normal, High and Excellent schools in the 5 Ball countries. Anything else is pretty managable if your income is good. |
