It would be nice if the Coach Secretary messages the manager when something happens with players in the Shortlist. f.i.: - player is put on sale - player's auction deadline is about to pass - player is sold (auction or transfer agreement) - player is promoted |

I only use him for finding good senior players who aren't on the market, so I can start negociations with the manager. Or to find players with low release clauses... A little more functionality would be nice... |

That's the only purpose! There isn't anything he can do that you can't yourself. He's just more patient and has nothing else to do. |
