The auction rule favor ppl with faster connections as they place bids in last few seconds of auction. we should incorporate such a rule that if there is any bid in last 1 minute the auction time to increase automatically by 3 min so as to enable others to place higher bids and also determine the best price of the player | 07/07/2011 21:13 |

Additional time is mostly irrelevant since people usually put a maximum bid on, so even if you tried to ninja in on someones bid they'll probably just auto bid over top of you. If you don't want any comments then just send a message to admins. But about your suggestion, that's why you have "maximum bid" option. You only put as much as you willing to pay for that player, and if someone outbids you, well then they wanted that player more than you did. |

Regarding the auction system, you put in a bid expecting the auction not to go beyond a certain limit, if somebody is outbid in last few seconds then must have the option to enhance his bid for which auto addition of time is needed. Like i lost the auction of CF 55 yesterday as somebody bid at the last moments to outbid me even though maximum bid 2M more than the prevailing bid. |

He would not have outbid you if your maximum bid was high enough. If you wanted him and feel you "lost" him you were obviously prepared to pay more than your maximum bid so therefore your maximum bid was not high enough. When you bid on a player, place your own valuation on that player, look at your available cash and decide on your maximum and then bid. Often you will pay less than your maximum and if you do get outbidded, shrug it off and find another player. But extending auction times is not a solution at all. Managerleague play like that and its the most boring auction engine I've ever seen. |
