never thought 25 spaces wouldn't be enough, but what are the ways to get roster spaces? i know you can add up to 3 for 250 golden balls, but are there other ways? because 750 GB for 3 extra slots is a lot...and apparently they're not even permanent (98 days?) perhaps it should be suggested that a team be allowed to carry up to 30 players and to tax anyone 5% of their total salary if they carry more. 05/07/2011 17:58

Fire all your current players...
The 98 days is a season-long thing and I'd say it is expensive at 250GB per slot, but I haven't regretted getting it. 5% of salary is far too little if it were taxed, I'd suggest 35%. Think of all the trading you get from buying and selling 3 players' worth, or those 3 extra players you train up for a whole season and then sell?

sure, 35% works too. perhaps even 50%. but definitely raise the standard maximum to 28-30, and then tax those who feel they need more. i believe the NBA does that, but when a team goes over the salary cap, rather than employing too many players. i don't think their luxury tax is nearly enough (miami heat anyone?) but implementing one on Striker and making the tax large enough would add a little something to this game and still keep it balanced. 05/07/2011 18:21
