You know, to communicate updates... In the last 10 days: Training times have been changed at least once in two different ways. 1) Splitting the training reset job and the application of training job 2) Moving the time from 8pm to 11pm, and then back to 7pm CDT You have made it too easy to report "Cheats" Now, instead of doing research and submitting a "good cheat report" in accordance with the FAQ Sticky.... All you do is click the BOMB TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRANSACTION....and F**K your buddy... no fuss, no muss. Now, I'm going to editorialize. Then, depending on what the particular admin reviewing the report thinks is "Market Value"... according to rule 6: Transfers too high or too low compared to average market price may be controlled by a judge or administrator of the game. Sanctions are left to a committee... According to this rule. So four things have to happen: 1: A player on the purchasing end a transaction has to know what the average market value is 2: A player clicking the bomb has to know what the average market value is. 3: A judge who receives and refers the case has to know what the average market value is. 4: The committee reviewing should have a list of what the average market value is. One problem. *No one knows what the average market value is* And I mean no one. And saying "I know a good value when I see it" doesn't work if the rules say you are using average market values....It also doesn't work to say "I sold xxxx at yyyy" because a a sample size of n=24 is required to be statistically significant. Can we please see these average market values so I don't have to use a screen scraper and run a small database to calculate it myself, because 1) My results won't be match you (All I can do is take into account the auction, you should be taking into account all direct transfers and hostile clauses also, as that is part of the market) 2) Using a screen scrape + timer will get me expulsed. Seriously. If you think the market value is 8M, and some joker clicks on a bomb and submits a report because I spent 2.5M on a player, right before the end of the season when no one could sell crap and the market crashed OR a player was in the last year of his contract, and was dumping the player (THIS WAS ADDRESSED BY ME HERE http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=256407 AND HERE http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=255834 )...OR the player was just an idiot. That isn't taken into account, then I get fined because it looked bad given today. Not cool... Too easy to report, too easy to make snap judgment. Biggest thing for me. If people are concerned that there is going to be unfair transactions, you need to have a moderately concrete number to compare it to. Sure the average price for a player with a specific average/age is going to change and it should, but for any user to be omniscient of these changes is just unreasonable. |

They're making progress, they're just making themselves look awful by not telling anyone. So it double sucks. They work to improve it, and take $hit over how it isn't improving because they're "the strong silent type" OR "the serial killer type" You pick. OR They really aren't doing $hit and I'm talking out my a$$ and really wasting my time.... ok. I'm talking out my behind and wasting my time anyway....whether or not they're doing anything is the point. |
