I knw the vacation lasts for two days or so which is a good thing cuz i'd suffer from withdrawals coz of my addiction...my suggestion is that during this time, players recover from injury, have their mo,fit and so at 99 at start of new season to make the game more real as real break lasts for upto 4 mnths...just get the players at 100% for start of new season. 12/06/2011 17:25

How do you know that they don't do that to begin with? I'm just assuming that because it seems to only make sense. 13/06/2011 02:08

Best scorer
Supported if not already included.

EDIT: actually, I sorta take that back, I am not sure morale would go all the way to 99, maybe just +50, because if players aren't happy with the way the team is going, that won't totally reverse by the beginning of the next season

and players with morale <20 quit and change careers, available as an assistant coach, physio, or ESPN announcer. 14/06/2011 00:24

I don't agree. It should be more like that: At seasons end morale +20 because it was a really nice holiday, fitness -50 because it was a really nice holiday and stamina being put at 100.

Managers who are too cheap and who allow their players' morale to hit rock bottom should still feel the consequences in the new season. in the real world it's no different. If you keep a player on a bench every game and degrade him to just fetch drinks for the rest of the team, You can's expect him to burst with confidence after a 4 weeks vacation. He will still have a morale problem.

Golden Ball

---- this post is meant as a suggestion, having no bearing on what actually does happen in the game today----

Fitness should go down by 1/2 of the 100-physio % So a physio of 50 would result in -25% fitness off season. physio of 80 would be -10%

This would increase the importance of a physio, as skimping on that and getting a 10 physio could cost you several games at beginning of season.

Stamina should decrease in relation to physio also. Same rule applies.

They should be modified by the invisible and possibly unused "Fidelity/Loyalty" score. Higher loyalty = lower decrease.
So a good physio + a loyal player = great offseason program.

a young player on upward trend should show improvement in offseason, something like physio * progression (age modified) bonus

This would reflect the off-season training programs. (special bonus = doctor modifier - reflecting off season treatments)

Off season morale should be impacted the same way, only using the psychologist... Morale should only increase for players with high psychology & high loyalty. Everyone else should see a slight decrease.

(special bonus = financial advisor/coaching secretary modifier - reflecting contract negotiations/restructuring)

Resigned youth should see no morale loss....Seriously, throw money at a teenager, and he's pissed about it?

Hello,
Next season players will get back the moral and stamina BUT they will lose some fitness points. That is due to the fact that they will be on holidays and they will not have trainings during this period. Injured players will be recovered only on the date given they are due to be recovered.
Greetings
