The way I see it in Football(or Soccer for others like me) in terms of national teams the main strength are in Europe and South America because a combination of talent and stable and reliable governments to to support a talented team. Africa has a lot of talented players with teams that have the capacity to make it big but corrupt(and often ineffective) governments and mishandling of teams stunt their growths. In order for Nigeria to fully succeed in the World Cup and live up to their true potential(I'm Nigerian-American by the way and a big fan of both Nigeria and Argentina) we need a solid and stable political landscape that stop favoring and putting ineffective players in the teams. Nigeria as lot of talent never sleep on them, what hurts them like I said before is not the lack of talent but social/political landscape back home like some many other African powerhouses.
