I know exactly what you mean. I wish this tutorial had been around when i first started Striker because i lost a very good player for a pretty cheap price. Yes, i was a little upset about it, but i did realize it wasn't the end of the world and that i'd make sure it didn't happen that easily again. jacobpark said: Thanks for the lesson So, when the hostile clause "season" starts, your players are "takeoverable" until the end of the striker season? yes. from day 10 of the season (or was it 7? i wasn't paying attention) to the very last day of the season. although i wouldn't recommend using the clause the day of or after your last league match. i believe somebody tried to buy a player the day before the season officially ended and ended up losing his money but not getting the player due to that 24 hour processing rule conflicting with the server's rollover into the new season. kinda pointless to buy a player after your final game anyway, but there's always those guys... |

Cool stuff! I was so angry when someone brought (first time) one of my players by paying the hostile clause... But there is also a good point here - you receive good money (assuming that your players are paid at "the proper" level). Good luck! |
