does the player play out the rest of his contract before he leaves or does he leave straight away

If someone pays his release clause, then he leaves the nest day (24 hours).
Or you have the option to release him sooner by clicking the release now button.
Either way he will be transferred within 24 hrs.

Ok what is Hostile Clause. Because i have lost a player from it who i bought 2 days before. And going to lose (Augusto Aguilar) tomorrow. So how do you stop it from happening. 31/08/2011 09:55

You can't stop senior players from being Hostiled, but you can make it less likely by raising the salary or your players, which will raise their Hostile Clause price. Juniors can be re-signed which protects them for the remainder of the season, just remember to re-sign them the following season.

Hostile Clause is the same thing as Release Clause, see page 1's explanation.

When I try and hostile a player I get the message -

"You cannot make transfer agreement or apply hostile clause with this user. You has not enough experience in the game"

I'm in my second season, why am I getting this message?

Ok, I think it's because the team I am trying to purchase from has less than 8k exp. If so, the error message is wrong & needs changing. 16/09/2011 18:36
